Nanganallur is a Southern Suburb of Chennai between St.Thomas Mount and Meenambakkam. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Goddess Rajarajeshwari and She is considered to be an incarnation of Goddess Sakthi. This Temple is very closely located near Sathyanarayana Temple. This Temple was built in the early 1970s by Sri Rajarajeswari Ashram and it is guided by Sri Rajagopala Swamigal. It is believed that worshipping Rajarajeswari on Tuesday will cure all ailments of the Devotees. Worshipping on Fridays will give Devotees a great success economically. Full Moon Day is considered to be the auspicious day for the Presiding Deity.
