The Utthara Guruvayoorappan Temple is built by following the typical Kerala style of Architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This Temple is considered to be a mini replica of Guruvayur Temple in Kerala. Though this Temple is constructed by following Kerala Style of Architecture concrete is used instead of wood. This Temple is named as Utthra Guruvayurappan Temple since it is located on the North of  the main Guruvayurappan Temple. This Temple was built in early 1970 and is currently administered and maintained by Guruvayurappan Asthika Samajam Trust. This Trust also runs an Ayurvedic Vaidyasalai. The Maha Kumbabhishekam of this Temple was performed on 17th April 1975. This Temple is located very close to Veera Anjeneyar Temple.
