The name of the Temple Ekaashara Maha Ganapathy Temple and it is located in Vivekananda Kendra or Vivekanandapuram in Kanyakumari. The Temple has a Welcome Arch and on top of it Sri Ekaashara Maha Ganapathy is seen. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Ekaashara Maha Ganapathy. There is a multi pillared Mandapam in which a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam along with a Moonjur Vaahanam face the Moolasthanam. In the Sanctum Sanctorum the Presiding Deity of Sri Ekaashara Maha Ganapathy is seen Blessing His Devotees as is well known He is the remover of all obstacles in the World. Therefore a lot of Devotees who visit this Tourist Town of Kanyakumari make it a point to visit this beautiful Temple which is located in a serene place. The Traditional Ritual of Pandhakaal Naduthal which is known as installing the Divine Wooden Pole was held in this Temple on 19th August 2024. This Temple is kept very clean and the annual Vinayaka Chathurthi celebrations is conducted with a lot of fanfare.
