This Temple is located in Keralapuram, a hamlet in Thuckalai in Kanyakumari District. Some refer this temple as Keralapuram Sri Athisaya Vinayagar Temple. The fun fact of this Temple is that the Temple was supposed to have been built in the 12th Century but the Idols installed in this Temple is believed to be much older than that. This Temple has two Presiding Deities in God Shiva and Sri Athisaya Vinayagar. The Idol of Sri Athisaya Vinayagar is looked with awe and wonder because the colour of this Idol keeps changing from that of black to white every six months. Though this Temple is located in Tamil Nadu it was built following the Kerala Style of Architecture. Though this Temple is a Shaivite, one can clearly see the  infleunce of Vaishnavism here.  Lots of Vaishnavite paintings and symbols are seen on the walls of the Temple. 

The Presiding Deity of Sri Athisaya Vinayagar is kept outside the Sanctum Sanctorum beneath a huge Banyan Tree and there are several ardent Devotees for Him. Like this Sri Athisaya Vinayagar there is a Divine Well in this Temple and many say that the Water of this Divine Well too keeps changing its colour many times a year. Aprt from this There is a Shiva Lingam representing God Shiva. Various Idols of Sri Natarajar is found all over the Temple. The Mural Paintings on the walls of the Temple is an added attraction for the devotees visiting this Temple. This temple has been renovated many time and has been kept neat and tidy. Since the propinquity is very close to the Kerala border Devotees from Tamil Nadu and Kerala visit this Temple quite frequently.
