This Kothandaramar Temple is situated in a place called Marupalli, on the Main Road leading from Hosur to Thali and it falls under Denkanikottai Taluk of Krishnagiri District. The Temple is almost 200 years old. The Temple was recently consecrated in the year 2017 and has a compound wall with an iron grill gate. On entering the Temple there is a Dwajasthambam and a Shrine for Sri Anjaneyaswamy who faces the Main Sanctorum where Sri Rama or Sri Kothandaramar stands aloft with Goddess Seetha, Sri Laksmanan and Sri Hanuman and these are all made of Black Stones. There is a metalic Urchavar Idol for all these Gods. Apart from them a metal statue of Sri Ramanujar is also found in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Two huge Palakaad Lamps and an electric gong add to the beauty of this small Temple. This Temple and its Rituals are  taken care well by Mr.Venkatesh and the Temple is well maintained with granite marbles. There is a Nandhavanam around the Temple. Sri Rama Navami and Vaikunda Ekadesi are celebrated in a grand manner here.
