This Temple is also known as Arul Tharum Sri Siva Sakthi Mariamman Temple and it is located in Sivasakthi Nagar, Korattur close to Vivekananda School. This is a small Temple in a residential locality of Korattur. It is believed that this Temple is around 35 years old since its humble beginning in a thatched roof. The Temple does not have any Rajagopuram or a Dwajasthambam. The Temple is East facing and is Sublime and Omnipotent. Devotees may have to climb 4 to 5 steps to reach the Temple premises. At the outset they have placed a Trident rooted to the ground and an Amman face is embossed in the middle of the metallic Trident. A Neivedhya Peedam or a Bali Peedam and an Idol of Simha Vaahanam face West towards the Moolasthanam. At the doorsteps of the Moolasthanam there is an Idol of Sri Bala Ganapathy and another Idol of Sri Bala Mrugan on either side and both these Idols face East. There is an elevated podium in the Moolasthanam and on top of it Sri Sivasakthi Mariamman, the Presdiing Deity is seen sitting and East facing with a Trident held in Her hand. This dazzling black Idol of Sri Sivasakthi Mariamman is awe inspiriing and keeps the onlooking Devotees spellbound. Beneath Her there is another timed podium on top of which is the Facial Idol known as Sri Renuka Parameshwari. This Facial Idol too is East facing and is considered to be on par with the Presiding Deity. The Urchavamoorthy of Sri Sivasakthi Mariamman is also seen within the same Sanctum Sanctorum. Around the Koshtam of the Moolasthanam there are Idols of Sri Maheshwari who is South facing, Sri Vaishnavi Mahalakshmi who is West facing and Brahmmi who is seen North facing.

The Temple has a North facing Sub Shrine of Sri Vana Durgai or Sri Vishnu Durgai. The Idol of Sri Vana Durgai is in a standing posture and holding a Trident along with a Sangu and Chakkaram. There is another East facing Sub Shrine in which the Idol of Sri Mahasakthi Vinayagar is seen. While circumambulating the Temple of Sri Sivasakthi Mariamman there is a unique semi circular Sub Shrine which is East facing and there are Naaga Devatha Idols in it. The Naaga Devatha Idols within this Sub Shrine are Sri Nagaraja, Sri Nagarani and Sri Naga Mariamman. There is a Lotus like structure and on top of it is a squarish podium and the Navagraha Idols are evenly kept here along with their respective Vaahanams.

Tamil Month of Aadi and Navarathri Days are celebrated here with great fanfare attracting Devotees from far and near. Married Couples who are Childless make a visit to this Temple and it is believed that they are Blessed with a Kid very soon. This Temple is Managed and Administered by Sri Arultharum Sivasakthi Mariamman Temple Trust.

This Temple has a temporary roofing only at some places whereas most of the places have a yawning gap and the Temple is open skywards. As a result of this the Temple is enormously affected during rainy season. Likewise the Temple does not have a compound wall for itself. Instead they have erected a railing all around the Temple which makes it vulnerable to the vageries of nature and in other security aspects. Devotees who are moved by this and those who could afford to donate could call Temple President Subburaj 94458 74001 and Mr.Ramalinga Gurukkal who is the Temple Preist in his Mobile Number 88077 67957 to do the needful and seek the Blessings of Sri Sivasakthi Mariamman.
