The Presiding Deity of the Temple is Sri Natarajar, who is an incarnation of God Shiva. This Temple is very famous among the residents of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Township. Sri Natarajar along with His Consort Goddess Sivakami Blesses His Devotees. The main Temple and the Sanctum Sanctorum are South facing. This Temple is famous for possessing the World's Largest Metal Idol of Sri Nataraja and that which is made of Panchaloga (5 Metals). There is a Shrine for Chemporsodhinathar who is an incarnation of God Shiva. He is found East facing in the form of a Shiva Lingam. Close to this is the Sub Shrine of His Consort Aram Valartha Nayagi Ambal who is an incarnation of Goddess Parvathy. The entrance of the Temple portrays God Shiva performing activities like Creating, Protecting and Destorying. The unique factor of this Temple is that the Idol of Saint Thirumoolar is kept near the feet of Natarajar instead of Saint Manickavasagar. A huge Nandhi Idol made of black stone is kept on a Pedestal facing the Presiding Deity of Sri Natarajar and this piece of work is eye captivating to any Devotees visiting here. The Temple does not have any Dwajasthambam or Rajagopuram. This Temple has Sun and Bhairava before the Sri Shiva instead of the usual Suryan and Chandran and this is yet another rare aspect of this Temple. This Temple has Sub Shrines for the 63 Naayanmaars which is called as Thiruthondar Thirukoil and it is well illuminated and eye appealing. There are Sub Shrines for Jaya Durga Devi, Saneeswaran, Kala Bhairavar, Chandikeshwarar, Ganapathy and Valli Devasena Samedha Subramaniyar. The Navagraha Sannadhi looks different in this Temple. It is located on a four pillared Mandapam and the base of the Navagraha Sannadhi looks square in shape.but the top of it is circular with Surya Bhagwan in a horse driven Chariot. On the outer peripheral there is a huge concrete mast and on top of it is a metallic gong which is known as Manu Needhi Aaraichi Mani. The entire Temple complex has a compound wall with an iron gate. The Temple is fully covered with CCTV and is run by Members of the Temple Committee. There are several flower vendors opposite to the Temple. The Temple has adequate car parking facility.
