Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple is located in Senjerimalai and the hillock on which the Temple has been built is known as Chinnamalai and it is located in Sulur Taluk in Coimbatore District. Hence Devotees refer this Temple as Chinnamalai Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple. The full name of the Temple is Sri Bhoomi Neela Samedha Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple. There are two ways to reach the Temple and Devotees can either reach it through steps or through a Motorable Ghat Road. This is an East facing Temple and close to the vehicular parking is a huge East facing coloured Idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy who is seen in a standing posture. He is seen holding a Mace in His left hand while the right hand is seen in a Abhaya Hasta Posture.

Then is a four pillared Mandapam in which the Deepasthamabam is seen. The base of the Deepasthambam has an East facing Idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy embossed at its base and a West facing Idol of Sri Garudalwar embossed at its base. Next is a Dwajasthambam or Kodi Maram and a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam. Facing the Moolasthanam is the Sub Shrine of Sri Garudalwar who is seen West facing. The Moolasthana Mandapam is made up of multiple pillars which are all beautifully coloured. Even the ceiling here has designes painted in contrast colours. The flooring of the Moolasthana Mandapam is beautifully tiled. There are two coloured Dwara Baalaka Idols who seem to stand guard on eihter side of the threshold leading to the Moolasthanam. Devotees may have to climb 3 to 4 steps to reach the level of the Sanctum Santorum. 

The Moolasthanam has an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Bhagwan Thirumalai Swamy who attained Jeeva Samaadhi here. The Idol of Sri Bhagwan Thirumalai Swamy is seen and flanking Him are the Idols of Sri Kousalambikai and Sri Vasugiri Ammaiyar on either side. There is another East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Bala Dhandayudhapani. In this Sub Shrine the Idols of Sri Bala Dhandayudhapani and Sri Ramanujar. At the entrance of the Sanctum Sanctorum is an East facing Idol of Sri Ganapathy. Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum and looking towards the West is a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and another Idol of Sri Garudalwar. There is a Gold plated  threshold after which the Presiding Deity of Sri Sundararaja Perumal is seen East facing and in a standing posture along with His Consorts Sri Bhooma Devi and Sri Neela Devi flanking Him on either side. The Urchavamoorthy Idols of Senjerimalai Sri Sundararaja Perumal is seen along with His Consorts within the same Sanctum Sanctorum.

To the right of the Dwajasthambam is a West facing Sub Shrine in which Sri Anjaneya Swamy is seen. Close to this is a South facing Sub Shrine in which the Idol of Sri Vishwaksenar is seen. To the left of the Neivedhya Peedam is a North facing Sub Shrine in which the Idols of all the Alwars are seen. Close to this is the North facing Oonjal Mandapam. Close to this is another North facing Sub Shrine of Sri Krishnar. The outer peripheral of the Temple has an East facing Shrine of Sri Bhoomi Thaayar who Blesses Her Devotees in a seated posture. The Urchavamoorthy Idol of Sri Bhoomi Thaayar is also seen with Her Shrine. There is another East facing Shrine in the outer peripheral and this pertains to Sri Neela Thaayar who is seen in a standing posture along with a Parrot. The outer peripheral has a South facing Sorga Vaasal or Paramapatha Vaasal which is open to the public on Vaikunda Ekadesi Days. 

The Temple has Thulabaara facilities for the sake of the Devotees. This Temple is located in a hillock and the scenic beauty and the ambience around the Temple can hardly be expalined in words. From the outer peripheral another hillock is visible and this hillock is known as Sri Ranganatha Gunn. From a distance this Ranganatha Gunn appears as though Sri Ranganathar is in a reclined posture. The Temple has its own Madapalli or Temple Kitchen and they have built a huge Annadhana Koodam. This Temple belongs to a Private Trust and many of the structures and Sub Shrines are still under constructions. Vaikunda Ekadesi, Chithirai Brahmmothsavam are some of the festivals celebrated in a grand manner.
