The Presiding Deity is called as Thiruvenkadamudaiyaan in Tamil or Venkatachalapathy in Sanskrit. The Urchavamoorthy is known by the name Srinivasa Perumal. The Goddess here is known as Padmavathy Thaayar. This is a Private Temple located in a place called Karumalai in Valparai Hills and built and maintained by Bangur Brothers of Rajasthan. Devotees are forced to park their cars in a cramped uphill with very limited parking area. There is a drop down barricade and a security, beyond which no vehicles are allowed. The sick and the aged suffer a lot since they are forced to walk uphill for more than 500 meters panting & gasping all the way despite a huge car parking space available at the threshold of the Temple. All the main grill gates leading to the Temple are closed and another security sitting there allows the Devotees through a small gate. There is a shoe stand funnily for Males and Females separately. The Temple is around 38 years old and is maintained meticulously. The Devotees can just Pray to the Presiding Deity but cannot go around the Sanctum Sanctorum like any other Temples since the Praharams are blocked by iron poles and ropes to make sure that no Devotee circumambulates Lord Balaji. It is learnt that the Purohit has been given a staff quarters within the premises and is not generally allowed to move out of the Temple premises. Anjaneyaswamy too is kept under lock and key in a separate sub shrine under glass enclosures. The Office of this Temple located adjacent to it is locked too and hence no phone numbers could be got. This Temple has a picturesque and a lovely Nandavanam or Temple Garden which is neatly fenced. The locals and the Devotees feel that the Temple Management could be more considerate in allowing Cars upto the Temple premises so that the Sick and Aged do not have to suffer by walking for several metres uphill and exhaust themselves physically.
