Sri Naaga Sai Baba Mandir is located in a narrow lane in Sai Baba Colony, Coimbatore. Devotees can enter through two North facing entrances. Though the Temple has two North facing entrances the actual Temple is East facing. At the outset there is a North facing Sub Shrine and on top of its Gopuram there are two coloured Idols of Sri Sai Baba. Inside this Sub Shrine is an West facing portrait of Sri Dwarakamayee with a pair of Divine Feet. Then is an East facing Idol of Sri Sai Baba made out of white marble. A non stop Dhuni is seen here.
Towards the Moolasthanam is a Gopuram and on top of it are two coloured Idols of Sri Naga Sai Baba. There is a multi pillared Mandapam with gorgeous paintings. The threshold leading to the Moolasthana Mandapam has been beautifully designed with a Hooded Divine Serpent. The Moolasthana Mandapam looks resplendent with its white tiles. A few hundreds of Devotees could be easily seated here with ease. On 26th Febuary 1961 a Marble Idol of Shirdi Sai Baba was installed by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This was the first time Sri Sathya Sai Baba installed an Idol of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. This Temple is known as Sri Naga Sai Baba since some people believe that in Shirdi a Snake came out of a Flower to listen to the speech of Sai Baba in Shirdi. There is a Sacred Stick inside this Temple complex which was used by Sri Sai Baba. The Presiding Deity of Sri Naga Sai Baba is East facing and in a seated posture. At its backdrop is a Gold and Silver threshold which accentuates the Idol of Sri Naaga Sai Baba. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Behind the Presiding Deity of Sri Naaga Sai Baba is a Gold Idol of a minature Sri Sai Baba. A huge portrait of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is hung here. In the year 1939 H.H.B.V.Narasimha Swamiji, Sri A.V.K.Chari and Sri.C.Varadaraja Ayyah started the Sai Movement in Coimbatore. This Temple was constructed in the year 1939 and a Sri Sai Baba Mutt was established and all Devotees were allowed to get the Blessings of Sri Sai Baba. Sri Varadharaja Ayya donated around one acre of land to construct this Temple. Devotees can circumambulate the Moolasthanam. To the rear of the Moolasthanam are the portraits of Pujyasri Narasimha Swamiji and Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Besides these there is another portrait of Sri Naagar and it is believed that Sri Naga Sai Baba had come in the form of Sri Naagar and had given Darshan on 7.01.1943.
To the rear of the Sri Sai Baba Moolasthanam is a huge Sri Naga Sai Annadhana Koodam. Likewise there is a Kalyana Mandapam which is to the rear of the Main Temple. The rear side of the Temple premises has a colourful multi pillared Mandapam and the Gopuram here contains the coloured Idols of two Elephants, two Yaalis and two Lotus Podiums. Within this multi pillared Mandapam is an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Ganapathy. Close to this is the East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Bana Lingeshwarar who is seen in the form of a Shiva Lingam. Facing this Sub Shrine is a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and a Nandhi Vaahanam. To the right of this Sub Shrine is another East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Kalyana Subramaniyar who is seen as a solitary Idol. This Sub Shrine has the Urchavamoorthy Idols of Sri Kalyana Subramaniyar along with Valli and Devasena.
To the rear of all the aforesaid Sub Shrines are a few East facing Naga Devatha Idols. Close to this is an East facing Idol of Sri Dattathreyar. There is a huge Arasa Maram or Peepal Tree beneath which is the West facing Idol of Sri Ganapathy flanking with Raahu and Kethu. This multi pillared Mandapam has an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Veera Anjaneyar along with His Urchavamoorthy Idol. A Navagraha Sannadhi is also seen here. The Sub Shrine of Sri Swarna Agarshana Bhairavar is seen South facing. He is seen in a seated posture with His Consort on His lap. There is an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narayanar along with His Consort. Facing the Sub Shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narayanar is a West facing Garudalwar Idol.
The Temple has a well maintained Ghoshala and close to this is a standing Idol of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba who is seen holding a pot. To the rear of the Temple premises is a school which is run by the Trust. There are several Flower Shops near the North facing gates. There is a shoe stand and facilities for drinking water is also seen. There is a Golden Chariot with a Golden Idol of Sri Sai Baba installed in it. This Temple is well maintained and kept meticulously clean by Sri Naga Sai Trust. Thousands of Devotees visit this Temple since Thursdays are considered to be very auspicious for Sri Sai Baba. This Temple generally bans using mobile phones by the Devotees but at the same time there are Sub Shrines in which the Purohits or Archakas are seen freely using the Mobile Phones.
