The full name of the Temple is Sri Tirupathi Venkateswara Swamy Temple and it is located in Codissia in Peelamedu. This is a very small Temple which is getting known to the public and Devotees in recent days. This Temple is located slightly interior from the main road. This is an East facing Temple but it does not have any Rajagopuram, Dwajasthambam or a Neivedhya Peedam yet. They have erected a huge semi circular roofing over the frontal portion of the Temple. They have designed the Gopuram of this Temple look very appealing and it is painted in a golden colour. The Gopuram has a centrally positioned Sri Venkateswarar Swamy who is East facing and in a standing posture. There is a Sangu and a Chakkaram close to Him. Flanking these are two Idols of Garudalwar on either side. The huge wooden door leading to the Temple is another added attraction since it has been finished and polished in an attractive way.
This Temple could also be accessed through two more entrances. These two entrances are North and South facing respectively. The outer Gopuram facing North and South are also painted in golden colour with a Divine Thirumann, Srichurnam in the centre and a Sangu and a Chakkaram flanking it on either side. The Moolasthana Mandapam though small has been neatly designed with a golden door and threshold leading to the Moolasthanam. On either side of it stuck two huge wall papers of the Dwara Baalakas who seem to stand guard to the Moolasthanam.
In the East facing Sanctum Sanctorum the Presiding Deity of Sri Venkateswara Swamy stands alone and with a radiance Blessing His Devotees. He is seen with a Paccha Karpoora Thirumann Kaapu and Kasthuri Thilakam on His Forehead. He has a towering Crown on His Head, His right hand holds the Sudharshana Chakkaram whereas His left hand is seen hold a Sangu or Panchachanyam. He displays a Abhaya Vaikunda Hastham showing His Divine Feet. He is seen flaunting a Dasavathaara Ottiyanam around His Hip. His left hand is on His Waist and He is seen with a Sword. He is also seen wearing two Garlands made of Padmaksha Maalai and Saligrama Maalai. Any Devotee visiting this Temple will have immense satisfaction similar to that of Tirupathi Balaji Darshan. The Urchavamoorthy Idol of the Presiding Deity of Sri Venkateswara Perumal, Codissia, Peelamedu is seen along with His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi who are seen flanking Him on either side in the same Sanctum Sanctorum.
This Temple offers Tonsuring and Thulabaara facilities for the sake of its Devotees. Every Thursday there are scores of Devotees here to have a glimpse of their favourite God since He is adorned with various types of Flowers available on that day. Though small this Temple has started earning its name and fame in every nook and corner of Coimbatore and as a result of this there is a steady inflow of Devotees on any given day. Dolosthavam, Oonjal Urchavam and such other similar Urchavams are done with great fanfare. The outer side of the Temple has ample space in which the Sesha Vaahanam and other similar Vaahanams are kept safely.
It is also widely construed that any Devotees who has Prayed to go to Tirupathi but could not do so due to the distance or any other unforeseen circumstances could pay a visit to this Temple to make amends. This Temple is very well taken care of by S.Prathyumnan Bhattachariar and his Family for which they have be appreciated.
