Sri Koniamman Temple is believed that this Temple is 500 years old. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Goddess Koni Amman and She is an incarnation of Goddess Sakthi. This Temple's Presiding Deity of this Temple is considered as the Guardian Deity of Coimbatore City. This Temple is built on the Southern side of Coimbatore. The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is a  Neem, Vilvam, Nagalingam, Arasa Maram. One of the Unique aspect of this Temple is that Navagrahas Blesses the Devotees along with their Consorts. This Temple also has Sub Shrines for Panchamuka Vinayakar, Murugan can be seen along with His Consorts Valli and Deivanai. It is believed that the Devotees visiting this Temple will get Marriage Boon, Child Boon and many Health related issues will be resolved. Devotees who are benefitted by the Blessings of Sri Koniamman offer Abhishekam to the Main Deity and Offer New Vasthrams to all the Deities in the Sub Shrine.
