Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple is located in the Nangavalli to Mettur Dam main road. This Temple is also known as Sri Someswarar or Sri Someshwarar Temple since there are Shrines for Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar and God Shiva. Some Devotees refer it as Shiva Vishnu Temple. This Temple has a 75 feet tall Rajagopuram. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar who is an incarnation of Maha Vishnu. He is seen as a Swayambu Moorthy and is said to come out of an Ant Hill in the form of a Saligrama Stone. This Temple is considered as one of the unique Temples since there is a separate Shrine for God Shiva and this shows the unity of Saivism and Vaishnavism.
