Arulmigu Kothandaramar Temple, Nandambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Kodandaramar and He is found in Pattabisheka Kolam along with His Brothers Lakshmana, Baratha and Shatrughana.  His Consort Goddess Seetha can be seen seated  on the  Lap of Lord Rama. Initially this place was called as Brindharanyam in Sanskrit and Nandavanam in Tamil. There are Sub Shrines for Lord Srinivasaperumal, Lord Krishna, Chakrathalwar and Yoga Narashimar. Lord Hanuman's Shrine can be seen facing the Sanctum Sanctorum.  Other than this there is another Shrine for Lord Hanuman outside the Praharam. This Temple has a beautiful Nandavanam. Sri Rama Navami is celebrated in a Grand Manner and Devotees from every part of Chennai visit this Temple during that time.
