Sri Maha Varahi Amman and Sapthamathas Temple which is located in Dharmaraja Kovil Main Road is also called as Sri Pidari Amman or Sri Elu Pidari (Seven) Amman Temple. This Elu Pidari Amman Temple is quite some distance away from the Arcot Road in Porur. This Temple has dual entrances. The first entrance is East facing with the name board and a small Gopuram consisting of the Idols of Sapthamathas. The entrance at the North too has a Gopuram atop which is an Amman Idol and She is flanked on either side by the Idols of Vinayagar and Murugan. The Moolasthanam of Sri Sapthamathas is North facing and there are Idols of a Bala Ganapathy and a Shanmugar on either side of the Moolasthanam's entrance. Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum are two Tridents, a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and a Simha Vaahanam which are all South facing. In the North facing Sanctum Sanctorum the former Presiding Deities of the Sapthamathas are placed at the ground level. On top of a podium the newer Presiding Deities of the Sapthamathas are evenly placed and they are as follows: Brahmmi, Maheswari, Goumari, Vaishnavi, Vaarahi, Indrani and Chamundi. The Urchavamoorthy Idol of the Amman is also kept within the same Moolasthanam. The Seven Sapthamathas seen in the Moolasthanam look glittering to the eyes of the Devotees and they together are known as Ezhu Pidari Amman. Around the Koshtam the Idols of Sri Gayathri Devi, Sri Mahalakshmi and Sri Bhuvaneshwari are seen.
The other important Shrine of this Temple is that of Sri Maha Vaarahi Amman who is seen in Her North facing Shrine in a standing posture. There are several Devotees who come to this Temple to Pray and seek the Blessings of Sri Maha Vaarahi Amman. The peripheral of this Temple has a East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Rudhra Lingeshwarar who is seen in the form of Shiva Lingam. Facing this Sub Shrine is a small Nandhi Vaahanam and a Neivedhya Peedam. Close to this is an elongated East facing Sub Shrine in which the Idols of Sri Muneeswaran, Sri Naga Kanni, Dhosam Theerkum Vinayagar, 3 Naga Devathas and Sri Surya Bhagwan are seen. Beneath this East facing Sub Shrine a stone Trident is found embedded on the wall. The Temple has two South facing Sub Shrines of Sri Dhakshinamoorthy and Sri Sorna Agarshana Bhairavar and both of them face the Moolasthanam. There is a Navagraha Sannadhi within the Temple premises. This recent built Temple attracts enormous number of Devotees from in and around this area. The Tamil Month of Aadi and Navarathri Days attact a lot of Devotees.
