Manapakkam is a place located between Gerugambakkam and MIOT Hospital and this Temple is located on the main road itself. This Temple is located on Manapakkam Main Road  leading from the MIOT to Gerugambakkam. This Temple is believed to be around 300 years old and it was earlier at a nearby premises. It has been relocated and renovated  for the past 6 years. This Temple has a small Welcome Arch facing Southwards. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Kariyamanicka Perumal whose Shrine is East facing.  His Consort's name is Sri Kanakavalli Thaayar and Her Shrine too is East facing and She is found in a sitting posture. There is an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Chakkarathalwar and to His rear is the Idol of Sri Yoga Narasimhar. Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar has an East facing Sub Shrine. Likewise Aandal too has an East facing Sub Shrine in which She is seen in a standing posture. The Temple has a huge South facing Anjaneya Swamy / Hanuman Idol measuring upto a height of 27 feet. This Idol draws a lot of attention not only to the Devotees visiting to this Temple but also to the passersby who happen to go pass this Temple. Beneath this tall Anjaneya Swamy Idol is another miniscule Idol of Anjaneya Swamy. Sri Kariamanicka Perumal Temple has a Pushkarani or a Sacred Tank located opposite to it. The Temple has ample vehicular parking space. In recent days people in and around this area make it a point to visit this Temple to seek the Blessings of Sri Kariya Manicka Perumal. There is a general belief that the Presiding Deity of Sri Kariya Manika Perumal Blesses childless couples with a kid no sooner they visit this Temple. Vaikunda Ekadesi is celebrated in a grand manner.
