Manapakkam is a place located between Gerugambakkam and MIOT Hospital and this Temple is located on the main road itself. This Temple is located on Manapakkam Main Road leading from the MIOT to Gerugambakkam. This Temple is believed to be around 300 years old and it was earlier at a nearby premises. It has been relocated and renovated  for the past 6 years. This Temple has a small Welcome Arch facing Southwards. This is an East facing Temple without any Rajagopuram or Dwajasthambam. Instead there is a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and a West facing Sub Shrine of Sri Garudalwar or Periya Thiruvadi. There is a multi pillared Mandapam leading to the Moolasthanam which has been neatly tiled. There are two huge Dwara Baalaka Idol who are East facing and they stand guard here. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Kariyamanicka Perumal whose Shrine is East facing. He is seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum facing East and in a standing posture flanked by His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. The Urchavamoorthy Idols too are seen within the Moolasthanam. The Temple's peripheral has an East facing Shrine of the Consort who is known as Sri Kanagavalli Thaayar and She is seen in sitting posture.

In the peripheral of the Temple is a West facing Sub Shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar. Here Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar is seen in a seated posture with the Thaayar on His left lap. The Sub Shrine of Sri Kubera Alwar is seen East facing with two Dwara Baalakas standing guard. Facing Sri Kubera Alwar's Sub Shrine is a Neivedhya Peedam and a Moonjur Vaahanam. Parallel to this is an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar. In this Sub Shrine Sri Hayagrivar is seen in a seated posture with Goddess Lakshmi on His left lap. Parallel to the Shrine of Sri Kanagavalli Thaayar is the Sub Shrine of Sri Aandal. In this Sub Shrine Sri Aandal is East facing and in a standing posture. The Temple has a huge South facing Anjaneya Swamy or Hanuman Idol measuring upto a height of 27 feet. This Idol draws a lot of attention not only to the Devotees visiting to this Temple but also to the passersby who happen to pass through the main road close to this Temple. Beneath this tall Anjaneya Swamy Idol is another miniscule Idol of Anjaneya Swamy.

There is a huge Pushkarani or Sacred Tank opposite to this Temple but devoid of water. This Pushkarani is kept unclean and with a lot of weeds and waterplants all over. The Temple also has and East facing Vaahana Mandapam to the rear of the Moolasthanam. The Office of the Temple is situated close to the main gate facing West. Close to the Temple Office there is a West facing counter meant for Prasada Distribution. There is a general belief that the Presiding Deity of Sri Kariya Manika Perumal Blesses childless couples with a kid no sooner they visit this Temple. Vaikunda Ekadesi is celebrated in a grand manner.
