Sri Chakra Vinayagar Temple is situated in South Dhandapani Street in T.Nagar where Moosa Street and Damodharan Street join along with South Dhandapani Street. This is a West facing Temple in a busy Residential locality of T.Nagar. The Temple does not have any Rajagopuram or Dwajasthambam. There is a West facing Gopuram and entrance and on top of this is a sitting coloured Idol of Sri Chakra Vinayagar. The pillars of the entrance leading to the Temple have coloured Idols of Yaalis. The entire stretch of Gopuram has coloured Idols of Sri Vinayagar, Sri Garudalwar, Sri Anjaneyar etc. Beneath these Gopura Idols there is a lovely coloured Idol of Sri Pallikonda Ranganathar which is West facing and which has been embossed on the walls of the Temple. 

At the outset there is a there is a West facing Shrine of the Presiding Deity in which Sri Chakra Vinayagar is seen in a seated posture and facing Him is a small Moonjur Vaahanam and a Neivedhya Peedam. Sri Chakra Vinayagar is considered as Anugrahamoorthi. Though this Temple is a recently built one the Idol of Sri Chakra Vinayagar is believed to be around 150 years old. The Vimanam of Sri Chakra Vinayakar's Sannadhi is seen with 16 coloured Idols of different Vinayagars. Around the Koshtam there are Idols of Sri Durgai Amman, Sri Lingothbhavar and Sri Dhakshinamoorthy. Next is the East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Balasubramaniyar who is seen standing alone and the Gopuram of this Sub Shrine is seen with a coloured Idol of Sri Balasubramaniyar. The Sub Shrine of Sri Kaala Bhairavar is South facing and He is seen in a standing posture and the Gopuram of this Sub Shrine is seen with a coloured Idol of Sri Kaala Bhairavar. Parellel  to the Shrine of Sri Chakra Vinayagar are twin Sub Shrines which are West facing. The first Sub Shrine has an Idol of Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal along with His Consort Goddess Lakshmi. In the next West facig Sub Shrine Sri Anjaneya Swamy. Close to these is a Navagraha Sannadhi which looks impressive and built on an elevated beneath a four pillared Mandapam. The wall opposite to the Navagraha Sannadhi has been designed with coloured Idols of Sri Shiva, Sri Maha Vishnu, Sri Brahmma, Sri Garudalwar and Sri Nandhiyamperuman. Any Devotee seeing this would be impressed by its design and colours. 

The Temple has a West facing Sub Shrine of Sri Kedhareeswarar who is seen along with His Consort Goddess Parvathy. Sri Kedareeswarar is seen in the form of a Shiva Lingam which is said to have been brought from Kedarnath and installed by HH Kanchi Sankaracharya. The Temple has two West facing Sub Shrines and the first Sub Shrine has a coloured portrait of Sri Ayyappa Swamy. In the second West facing Sub Shrine there is a white marble stone of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba who is seen in a seated posture. The Temple has a grilled enclosure which is West facing and all the Urchavamoorthy Idols are safely kept here. The Temple has a North facing Dais like Podium in which Divine Rituals and other functions pertaining to the Temple could be staged. This stage has a beautiful coloured North facing Idol of Shivan Thirukalyanam in which God Shiva, Goddess Parvathy, Sri Maha Vishnu and Sri Brahmma are seen together. Standing guard here are two portraits of a pair of Dwara Baalakas.
