Kuranganilmuttam is a village located in Tiruvannamalai District but in reality it is very close to Kanchipuram Town. This is considered as a Sani Parihaara Sthalam. The Presiding Deities of this Temple are Sri Valeeswarar and Sri Koyyamalarnathar and they are considered to be  incarnations of God Shiva. Here Sri Valeeswarar Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Irayarvalli Ammai. This Temple is considered as one of the Thevaram Paadal Petra Sthalam and the sixth Temple to have been built on the banks of River Cauvery in Thondaimandalam. The Presiding Deity is in the form of a Self Manifested Swayambu Lingam. Devotees visit this Temple to get removed from all adverse effects created by Sani Bhagavan. The other Presiding Deity is called as Sri Koyyamalar Nather since when King Vaali worshipped this Temple he Shook the Tree and made the flowers fall directly on the Deity. Since Vaali did not touch the Flowers with his hands this Presiding Deity is called as Sri Koyyamalar Nathar. Koyya means Unplucked and Malar means Flower. This Temple has Sub Shrines for Sri Kasi Viswanathar, Sri Bhairavar, Navagrahas, Sapthamathas, Naga Devathas, Maha Vishnu etc. Festivals like Laksha Deepam, Maha Shivarathri, Aippasi Annabhishekam are celebrated in a grand manner.
