Sri Venkatachalapathi Temple is located on the main road leading from Arcot to Thiruvannamalai in a place called Irumbedu, just opposite to Balaji Chockalingam Engineering College.  The construction work  for this Temple was started on 06-02-2012.  This is a Private Temple belonging to Dr.A.C.Shanmugam.  The Temple was consecrated and the Kumbabishekham was performed on 17-06-2022.  The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Venkatachalapathi or Balaji.  The Temple has a colourful Rajagopuram which is East facing and on entering the Temple there is a Sub Shrine for Thumbikai Alwar (Vinayakar).  The Presiding Deity in the Sanctum Sanctorum stands 6 feet tall and is mounted on a pedestal making it a grand total of 7 feet.  The Presiding Deity was carved out and brought from Mahabalipuram.  Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum there is a Sub Shrine for Garudalwar.  The Urchavar of this Temple is known as Srinivasa Perumal and He was brought here from near Swamimalai.  There are Idols of Lord Krishna and Chakrathalwar kept in one corner of the Sanctum Sanctorum.  The Consort of the Presiding Deity is Goddess Padmavathy Thaayar and She Blesses Her Devotees from a separate Shrine.  Close to it is another Sub Shrine where Sri Kalyana Perumal and His Consort are found together.  He is believed to Bless unmarried Devotees coming here and such Devotees are said to get married soon.  There are Sub Shrines for Aandal and Anjaneya Swamy.  The Temple has a modern ash coloured compond wall with images and is fitted with a huge door.  Almost all Shrines posses steel railings or gates.  The Temple ceiling too is gorgeously painted with different colours.  Prasadhams are distributed to all Devotees and they have water tap facility too.  The Temple is covered with CCTV Camera.  There are a few temporary shops just outside the Temple selling Pooja articles, Flowers, Garlands etc. Since the Temple seems to be new and modern it attracts Devotees from all places around the Temple.  In recent days Devotees coming here call this as Chinna Tirupathi.
