Dharbasayana Sethurama Temple is located in Pon Vilaindha Kalathur close to Chengalpet. There are three Rama Temples in this village and allthough this  being the smaller than the other Rama Temples this Dharbasayana Sethurama Temple has more importance than the other Temples. Devotees have to enter this Temple only through Kodanda Ramar Temple entrance. This is the only Temple apart from Thirupullani where Sri Rama could be seen in a Darbha Sayana Posture. Lakshmana is seen behind  Sri Rama  while Anjaneya and Samudra Rajan are seen standing in the front. The Utsavar of this Perumal is believed to have come from Dhanushkodi as per the inscriptions in Perumal's Crown. The Dharbasayana Sethuramar Sannidhi was installed in Sri Kothanda Ramaswamy Temple recently, in the 20th century. The Moolavar of Dharbasayana Sethuramar Temple was installed by the grandson R.T.Parthasarathy of Salem Vijayaraghavachariyar, and the Samprokshanam was performed by the 44th Jeeyar of Ahobila Mutt. The bronze image of Sri Rama is the prime attraction of this Temple. The stone Idol of Lord Rama is just made like the one seen at Thirupullani. As Pon Vilaintha Kalathur is located close to Chengalpattu the number of Devotees visiting this Temple is gradually increasing with each passing day. Sri Rama Navami and Hanumath Jayanthi are celebrated here in a grand manner and during these days this Temple attracts a lot of Devotees from far and near.
