The full name of the Temple is Sri Meenakshi Ambal Udanurai Sri Thiruvennkateeshwarar Temple and it is located in Kadaperi on the outskirts of Madhuranthagam. This Temple has a multi coloured East facing five tiered Rajagopuram. Close to the Rajagopuram is a multi pillared North facing Mandapam with the full name of the Temple on top of it. The Temple Vaahanams are stacked within this Mandapam. Opposite to the Temple is a huge Arasa Maram which has been neatly fenced. Beneath the Peepal Tree is a podium on top of which is a black Idol of an East facing Vinayagar. There is a small East facing Ganapathy Idol beneath the Rajagopuram and facing this Idol are three small Idols of two Elephants and Manjoor or Mouse. There is a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam a Dwajasthambam or Kodi Maram and a Nandhi Vaahanam facing Westwards towards the Moolasthanam. Beyond this is a multi pillared Mandapam which has a small coloured Gopuram with an Idol of Somaskandar and Devotees may have to climb five to six steps to reach this Mandapam. Beyond this is another multi pillared Mandapam and there are two huge black Idols of the Dwara Baalakas who stand guard. There are two small Ganapathy Idols close to the Moolasthanam. In the Sanctum Sanctorum  Sri Thiruvenkateswarar who is also known as Sri Swetharaneshwarar in Sanskrit is East facing and in the form of a Shiva Lingam. He is considered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Around the Koshtam the Idols of Ganapathy, Dhakshinamoorthy, Maha Vishnu, Brahmma and Durgai are seen. There is a Chandikeshwarar Sub Shrine and the speciality of this Sub Shrine in this Temple is that Jeshta Devi is found in it.  Close to the Moolasthanam is the Shrine of Sri Natarajar wo is South facing and is seen along with Sivagami Ambal, Manikavasagar and Sundarar. Usually in other Shiva Temples only Manickavasagar would be found in the Shrine of Natarajar but here Sundarar too is found since He is said to have sung in praise of Sri Thiruvennkateeswarar. This Temple is believed to have been built in the 7th century during the days of Pandyas.

This Temple has a South facing Shrine of Sri Meenakshi Ambal who is the Consort of Sri Tiruvennkateshwarar. Sri Meenakshi Ambal Shrine is situated in a multi pillared Mandapam and She is seen East facing and in a standing posture. Her Idol has been sculpted in such a manner so that Silver Anklets could be worn around Her Feet on festive days. Close to the Shrine of Sri Meenakshi Ambal is a grilled enclosure in which a huge Shiva Lingam known as Sri Pandeeswarar is seen along with a South facing black Idol of Sri Bhuvaneshwari or Bhuvanapathy. Arrangements have been made so that the Holy Water drips from above the Shiva Lingam through a Jala Dharai Vessel or Galantika kept dangling on top of the Shiva Lingam.

In the inner peripheral there is a North facing Sub Shrine of Naalvar (Appar, Sundarar, Manikavasagar and Thirunavukkarasar). There is a East facing Sub Shrine of Ganapathy and at the other end of the pillared corridor is another East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Subramaniyar flanked by Valli and Devasena. Between the Sub Shrine of Ganapathy and Sri Subramaniyar there is a Shiva Lingam and few Naga Devatha Idols. The Symbols of Sastra Bhandham, Mayura Bhandham and Ratha Bhandham reminding us of Sri Pambam Kumara Gurudaasa Swamigal are seen there. Within the same inner peripheral there are Idols of four Bhairavar who are all South facing. They are Kala Bhairavar, Unmatha Bhairavar, Asithanga Bhairavar and Swarna Agarshana Bhairavar. Generally in other Temple there is only a solitary Bhairavar Idol whereas in this Temple there are four Bhairavar juxtaposed. The speciality here is that the Swarna Agarshana Bhairavar is always surrounded and within the water thereby keeping his Feet moist all the time. The Temple has a West facing Idol of Surya Bhagwan who is seen holding a Lotus along with its stem. The Temple's outer peripheral is kept clean and has a neat flooring. At one end of the outer peripheral is an East facing Ganapathy Idol which is seen fixed to wall. A Navagraha Sannadhi too is available in the outer peripheral.

The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is Mandharai and the Pushkarani or Sacred Tank is known as Visha Hara Theertham or Vida Hara Theertham. A lot of importance is given to the Temple's Pushkarani since it has medicinal properties and is said to cure all Skin Ailments. Centuries ago a Pandya King who had skin disorders had taken bath in this Temple and it is believed that he got rid of his skin ailments due to the Divine intervention and Medicinal properties of this Pushkarani. It is also said that this Pushkarani never gets parched despite sweltering heat of the summer and this is due to the fact that there are several age old wells deep within this Temple Tank. The Temple has a Madapalli or Temple Kitchen.

Purattasi Navarathri, Aavani Moolam, Chithirai Vishu, Aadi Thapasu, Thaipoosam, Panguni Brahmmothsavam, Pradosham, Maha Shivarathiri are the festivals that are celebrated in a grand manner. This Temple is considered to be the Budhan Parihaara Sthalam.
