Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal Temple is located in a place called Soorakuttai in Maduranthagam on the road leading to the TNEB Office and Vivekanandha School. This is an East facing Temple without a Rajagopuram. The Temple is visible to the Devotees from far off distance too since there is a South facing Ugra Narasimhar Idol who stands more than 40 Feet tall. On entering the Temple the first and most conspicuous Idol visible is that of the South facing Ugra Narasimhar and beneath the basement of this Idol is a South facing black Idol of Anjaneyar who is kept enclosed in a glass panel. The Idol of Ugra Narsimhar and Anjaneya Swamy could be circumambulated by the Devotees. Facing this is a huge green coloured North facing Anjaneya Swamy seen in a standing posture. Beneath this Idol is another small Hanuman Idol seen in a kneeling posture facing North. To the right of the Moolasthanam is an East facing Vinayagar Sub Shrine. The Temple has two West facing Idols of a Garudalwar and a Anjaneya Swamy and both of them face the Sanctum Sanctorum. There are two huge coloured Dwara Balaaka Idols who stand guard before the Moolasthanam. Atop the Sanctum Sanctorum a coloured Idol of Pallikonda Ranganathar could be seen along with Sri Devi, Bhoo Devi and Brahmma. The threshold leading to the Moolasthanam is gold plated and looks glittering. In the East facing Sanctum Sanctorum there is a huge coloured Idol of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal seen in a seated posture and holding Goddess Lakshmi on His left lap. Beneath this Presiding Deity is the former Main Deity of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar made of a black Idol. Both these Idols are considered as Presiding Deities and Prayed. Within the same Moolasthanam the Urchavamoorthy Idol of Perumal is seen flanked by Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi and next to them is a small Idol of Anjaneya Swamy.
All the pillars of this Temple are gorgeously painted and they have the Dasavathara Idols embossed on them. The Temple has not spared even a small space on the walls of its inner peripheral.
