Sree Chidambareswar Temple is located in Chidambar Nagar in Thilakwadi 3 Kms away from Belgaum city.  There is a Welcome Arch and a compound wall. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Chidambareshwar and He is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and He is found as a Shiva Lingam in the Sanctum Sanctorum.  This Temple has a huge space from where Devotees could  sit and do prayers. There are idols Sub Shrines for Lord Ganesha, Lord Panduranga Maharaj, Lord Dattatraya, Lord Vittal Rukmani inside the Temple complex. This Temple was built and Pratustapana was performed by Late Kanchi Shri Chandrashekar Saraswathi Swamy.  Shivarathri, Ganesh Chaturthi are some of the festivals that are celebrated in a grand manner here.
