The Temple is very near to Yeshwathpur Bus Terminus. The Presiding Deity here is Goddess Gayathri Devi who is also known in the name of Veda Matha. The Founder of the Temple is His Holiness Chidambara Dikshit. The Temple consists of a Big Yaaga Mandapam. Apart from the Shrine of Sri Gayathri Devi, there are Shrines for other Deities like Dhanvanthri Maha Vishnu, Agastheeswarar, Baktha Anjaneyar, Murugan and Panchamukha Ganapathi too. Scores of Shivalinga which are found to be guarded by Lord Nagarajan looks so eye appealing. There are Nag Devthas and an exclusive Navagraha Sannidhi too. Many Cultural Events are organised during the Dussehra. Special Poojas are done during Sankadahara Chathurthi, New Moon and Full Moon Days.
