This Temple is located in Thiruvisanallur close to Thiruvidaimaruthur and Kumbakonam. The full name of the Temple is Sri Soundaranayagi Amman Samedha Sri Sivayoginathar Temple. The Temple has a five tiered East facing Rajagopuram. On entering the Temple there is a small Sub Shrine where Maha Ganapathy is placed facing the Rajagopuram. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Sivayoginathar who is an incarnation of God Shiva. He is found in the Sanctum Sanctorum in the form of a Shiva Lingam and is East facing. Sri Sivayoginathar is related to Rishaba Raasi and it is widely believed that He would drive away all the evils and ill effects of Rishaba Rasi Devotees. A pair of Dwara Baalakas are found at the threshold of the Moolasthanam and a small Nandhi Vigraham is found facing the Presiding Deity. Close to the Moolasthanam is a Pillayar, Somaskandar and an Idol of Sri Natarajar. The Ambal Shrine is in a multi pillared Mandapam facing South and is located further away. She is known here as Sri Soundaranayagi Ambal and is considered as an incarnation of Goddess Parvathy. The entire walls of the multi pillared Mandapam of Ambal's Shrine has colourful Images of Ashta Lakshmi.
