This Temple is located in Pudhu Street, Sannapuram in Thepperumanallur on the Main Road. The Temple is East facing and it has a tin sheet roofing on the anterior side. To the left is a small multi coloured Sub Shrine for Selva Vinayagar and on the right is a similar Sub Shrine for Bala Murugan. There is no Rajagopuram for this Temple but instead they have erected a colourful and eye catching  Arch on top of which several gorgeous Idols of Goddesses Sakthi, Mahalakshmi and Saraswathi are displayed along with other Idols. The entire Temple premises has got multiple pillars throughout with grey and gold colour paintings which looks so glamourous and eye appealing. Even the ceiling of the Temple has designs with multiple colours which is simply awe inspiring.  Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum of Maha Mari Amman is a Bali Peedam on an elevated podium. The threshold to this Moolasthanam looks awesome with gold platings all over. On the threshold to the Moolasthanam of Maha Mariamman are a pair of multi coloured Dwara Baalaki Idols. Similarly Goddess Sundara Kaliyamman who is North facing is also placed in a Sub Shrine before which two multi coloured Dwara Baalakis are displayed. The threshold leading to the Moolasthanam of Sundara Kaliyamman too has gold platings. Close to this is a Sub Shrine for Sri Sakthi Otrai Komban Vinayagar which is East facing. There is a  Sub Shrine for Karuppana Swamy whose Idol is of blur colour. There are a pair of Dwara Baalakas just outside His Sub Shrine and a few Idols could be seen on top of His Sub Shrine. Quite close to it is a Sub Shrine in which Pechiamman, Veerabadrar and Kaathavarayan are seen together. In an adjoining Sub Shrine Uma Maheswarar, Brahmma Kannigai and Raahu are seen. Between these two Sub Shrines is an ear marked space for lighting oil lamps and an Amman Image has been painted there with deft hands. Full Moon or Pournami days are celebrated here with much fanfare for which they have a Ambal Pournami Vazhipaatu Kuzhu which takes care of such functions. The most important factor of this Temple is that they have built an exclusive shelter called Mahamayee Mandapam where those afflicted with any type of Pox diseases are kept here for a certain number of days before they get cured and leave for their respective homes. It is a habit for the Devotees in and around Kumbakonam to offer various fruits for different reasons to this Temple. They offer Bananas for a good cultivation & yield. Likewise Mangoes are offered to get a quicker marriage done and Lemon to vanquish their enemies. In recent days Devotees who have a habitual drunken member in their family bring him here and get a Divine hand woven string tied to his wrists and it is believed that by doing this the drunked would soon come out of his drinking habits. The Temple has an exclusive Madapalli or a Temple Kitchen and an Annadhana Koodam. The origin of this Temple is still a mystery but the latest Kumbabishekam was performed in March 1993.
