In the Sanctum Sanctorum the Presiding Deity of Sri Thirupandi Kodumudinathar is seen West facing. He is seen as a Swayambhu Shiva Lingam and when seen along with the Naagabharanam He looks dazzling and resplendent to the eyes of the Devotees. Since the Presiding Deity is seen facing West or Merkku in Tamil He is believed to bring Prosperity or Menmai in Tamil. It is believed that the Presiding Deity of Sri Thirupandi Kodumudinathar was obtained from the Mother Earth centuries ago. The Koshtam of the Moolavar Sannadhi has North facing Idols of Sri Durgai Amman and Sri Brahmma, South facing Idol of Sri Chandikeshwarar who is known here as Sri Sandesa Nayanaar, an East facing Idol os Sri Lingothbhavar and South facing Idols of Sri Dhakshinamoorthy and Sri Narthana Vinayagar. The importance of this Adhi Panmozhiammai Idol is that it is seen just beneath a Vilwa Tree. Facing the Sub Shrine of Sri Adhi Panmozhiammai is a small Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and a Nandhi Vaahanam.
