This Temple is situated in the North Western Corner ( Right Extreme Corner) of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple Building. The Presiding Deity is an incarnation of Goddess Parvathi and this Temple is the second most important Temple in Mantralayam. Devotees generally Pray Manchalamma before entering the Raghavendra Swamy Temple. Manchalamma Temple comprises of a Hall with Sanctum, The Main Deity is just a 3 feet Idol located on an elevated platform. Several colourful depictions of Goddess Parvathi is found in the Vimanam. It is believed that Manchalamma protects the Temple town of Mantralayam with Her Divine Powers. Manthralayam in earlier days was known as Manchali which refers to Goddess Manchalamma. They have a unique practice of allowing the Devotees themselves to perform the Aarthi.
