Swami Sadavudayar Temple is dedicated to Sastha and is located in a serene atmosphere in South Pappankulam Village close to Kallidaikurichi, Tirunelveli District. The dense forestry leading to the Temple and the lush green paddy field with a hill closeby are a real  treat to watch for any Devotee visiting this Sadaudayar Temple. It is a usual practice here that Devotees who wish to come to Sri Swamy Sadaiudaiyar Temple must first visit Pottaladi Madaswamy Temple before offering Prayer here. The Sastha here is known as  Swamy Sadaiudayar whereas the Goddess is known as Porchadayachi alias Rajarajeswari. This Temple is not built according to Agama Sastra. Hence there are no Tower, Bali Peetam or Dwajasthambam or Flag Staff. Sadaiudayar or Shasta is in the form of Bala Jadadhaari and in a standing posture with long grown beard and a stick to lean upon. There is an Idol of Vinayagar at the entrance of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Usually all Fridays and particularly Thai Fridays are very auspicious and during such times the Temple is kept open throughout the night. The Temple has strict dress code and Males are allowed only with the Dhothi / Veshti. Pant, Baniyan and Shirt are not allowed.  Ladies are strictly barred from entering the Temple. This Temple is managed by Sadaiudayar Seva Trust operating from No.26/160, Veerappapuram Street, Kallidaikurichi - 627 416

Temple Timing:  9 AM to 12 Noon Only.  During Tamil Thai Month Temple might be opened from 8 PM to 5 AM for Night Pooja. If Friday falls on Pongal or Maatu Pongal Days there would be No Night Poojas.
