The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Hanuman and He is six feet Tall and Blesses His Devotees in a standing posture with a readiness to fly towards Sanjeevi Mountain. One of His Hands is in Abhaya Mudra assuring the protection to all His Devotees. The Tail is raised above the Head and a Bell can be seen tied  to the end of His  Tail. This Temple is located on a small hillock named Gajagiri hill and at the foot Hill AsShrine of Lord Vinayaka can be seen. Devotees have  to climb 108 steps to reach up the Hill. It is believed that this Temple was estblished by Sage Vyasa. It is believed that Lord Hanuman stayed here on  His  way back to Sri Lank to perform Sandhya Vandhanm. There is a Shrine for Lord Rama and He can be seen along with Goddess Seetha and  Brother Lakshmana. There is a motorable ghat road to reach the hill top. Festivals like Hanumath Jayanthi and Sri Rama Navami is celebrated in a grand manner.
